- I can be the online game server’s issue
- You can being banned from this server
- It can be the communication ports used by your game which you didn’t opened in your firewall/router.

Windows Firewall may have blocked your games from accessing internet.
When you start a game for the first time, windows firewall asks your permission if you want to give internet connection to a specific game/software.
You can check firewall settings if that is the problem.
Open Control Panel and Go to

Click on Change settings button and change the settings of your game.
There could be many issues. If you are using a public IP, ask your ISP to give you a “real IP”. That might solve a lot of issues.
Also, check the firewall settings. Sometimes you will have to add the game shortcuts to “firewall exception list”. If you haven’t done that, every time you try to take your games online, the firewall will block them.
Also, do check if your games are legitimate or not. Pirated and or cracked games cannot be used for online multiplayer.

Uhhh this particular answer is going to require a lot more information. Example, if you’re playing an older game it could be that the servers are no longer functional. If a newer game, it may have something to do with your firewall or could just be some maintenance going on. This depends on what network you’re connected to most of the time.
For instance, if you’re connected to a work network/college network, chances are that they block out websites related to gaming. This also means that they have a firewall set which doesn’t allow anything related to gaming to pass through. This could be a huge reason why you cannot connect to an online game.
Another reason could be simply that the game’s servers are down. Because of this, you just cannot connect to the game again until the servers come back up. This has nothing to do with you, it’s all on the game developer’s side/ server hoster’s side.
