EMMERDALE fans are disgusted after Meena Jutla raped Liam Cavanagh in an attempt to get pregnant.

The serial killer – who is played by actress Paige Sandhu in the ITV soap – was horrified that casual date Billy Fletcher would end things with her that she lied about being pregnant.

As she was not actually pregnant, she decided that a drunk Liam was the perfect man to take advantage of, plying him with drink at their Christmas party, taking him home and sexually assaulting him.

Liam was helpless and unable to stop her or even consent in the horrifying scenes that left viewers sickened.

One wrote: “I really can’t cope with Meena,” while a second said: “The serial killing I am fine with but I draw the line at rape.” Another added: “This Meena storyline has gone on too far now, now she’s going to rape someone sighs.”

    EMMERDALE fans have threatened to “switch off” as serial killer Meena Jutla gets away with ANOTHER horrific crime.

    New spoiler pictures show Manpreet shackled to a bed as Meena controls her.

    But some viewers have had enough of the outlandish plot and have called for the storyline to end.

    One fan said: “Come on…..end this now! Please don’t drag it into 2022!! It’s like nails on a blackboard.”

    Another posted “Don’t know and tbh I don’t care. I never thought Emmerdale would literally make me switch off despite there are many characters I love.

    “Too many brilliant people leaving. Terrible over the top storylines. EastEnders was the first soap I switched off.”

    A third added: “Listen to your fans! End this storyline and get rid of Meena!”

    As the two women celebrate the beginning of 2022, their journey home leads them straight into trouble.

    After spending nine months behind bars, Faye (Ellie Leach) was looking forward to spend Christmas away from her legal troubles.

    But after Debbie Webster’s visit to Ray Crosby, Faye was released on bail just in time for Christmas.

    While adapting to life outside prison, Faye is led to a New Year’s Eve party by Emma (Alexandra Mardell), who had promised her driving lessons.

    And everyday life turns out to be tougher than expected as Faye drives a tipsy Emma home, in scenes which are yet to air on Coronation Street, during the New Year.

    Viewers will watch in horror as, following their New Year’s Eve party, both women encounter more drama when they knock over Ted, a frail pensioner carrying his shopping, played by Duggie Brown.

    Coronation Street’s Elle Mulvaney looked worlds apart from her character Amy Barlow as she did some last minute Christmas shopping today.

    The 19-year-old actress made a peace sign in a glam Instagram selfie while listening to Sam Fender’s Hypersonic Missiles. She showed off her festive red manicure and wore a subtle face of makeup for the outing.

    The actress was first cast as schoolgirl Amy in 2010 and has been involved in some major storylines over the years. One of which centred around her emotional teen pregnancy after she was raped by gang leader Tyler Jefferies.

  • Corrie’s Kimberly Hart Simpson makes explosive return

    Kimberly Hart-Simpson is making an explosive comeback to the Coronation Street.

    The Sun can exclusively reveal the actress and fashion designer, 34, will reprise her role of sex worker Nicky Wheatley in the ITV soap next spring.

    Nicky’s return to the cobbles will cause chaos for ex love Daniel Osbourne and his relationship with barmaid Daisy Midgeley.

    Single mum Nicky was last seen in September 2020 when she moved away after Daniel paid off her debts so she could quit prostitution.

    A source said: “Daniel’s world is going to be rocked when Nicky unexpectedly turns up on the cobbles.

    “She was there for him in his darkest hour after Sinead’s death but he didn’t think he’d ever see her again.

    “Now he’s secretly with Daisy but could Nicky put the final nail in the coffin for their seemingly doomed relationship?”

  • Emmerdale spoilers: Al Chapman threatens to kill Kyle

    An upcoming episode of Emmerdale will see the businessman (Michael Wildman) make a veiled death threat to Cain Dingle, targeting 10-year-old Kyle.

    As tensions grow between him and the Dingles, Al also has to deal with Gavin, a business partner determined to get his money back, no matter the cost.

    Viewers have suspected that the thug could take his frustrations out on Ellis, Al’s 24-year-old son.

    However, the New Year will see Cain (Jeff Hordley) turn the feud into a war as he lashes out on Ellis.

  • James Bye on EastEnders’ quiz show

    Taking on the role of host, James Bye said: ”I really enjoyed it. I’ve never done anything like this before. 

    “We were told to have fun, have a laugh and show viewers what our relationships are like off-camera and that’s exactly what we did. 

    “There are ten episodes of us just having a giggle. 

    “It really lifted everyone’s spirits when we needed it with all the news around at the moment just before Christmas and I hope that comes across on screen.” 

  • EastEnders launches weekly gameshow

    EASTENDERS is launching its first ever gameshow on YouTube.

    The BBC have commissioned ten episodes of Albert Squared – and they began airing on the show’s channel last night.

    Hosted by James Bye, the gameshow will be an exciting mix of E20 trivia, hilarious games and a whole lot of laughs.

    The first of ten shows will air on the EastEnders YouTube  channel and Facebook page with two teams – the Walford Warriors and the East End Defenders battling it out to win. 

  • Viewers disgusted as Emmerdale’s Meena rapes Liam

    In last night’s episode Billy ended things with Meena and she took it very badly.

    Meena broke down in hysterics, despite the fact they had only been seeing each other for a matter of weeks, and told him she was pregnant.

    Billy was rocked by the news and went to tell Dawn – but Meena had a more pressing issue.

    Not actually pregnant, she decided that a drunk Liam was the perfect man to take advantage of.

    She plied him with drink at their Christmas party before taking him home and revealing her plans to sexually assault him to get pregnant.

    It left viewers sickened.

    One wrote: “I really can’t cope with Meena.”

    A second said: “The serial killing I am fine with but I draw the line at rape.”

    Another added: “This Meena storyline has gone on too far now, now she’s going to rsomeone sighs.”

    A health check will cause trouble in paradise as the co-owner of Street Cars will hide a troubling health diagnosis from his wife.

    In an episode due on the air in the new year, the couple kick-start 2022 with a new and healthy lifestyle and book their own health checks with Dr. Gaddas.

    However, when Sally passes her test and deems that both of them deserve a treat, Tim is reluctant.

    He then appears taking a furtive phone call to confirm an appointment, leaving Sally none the wiser.

    Tim later refuses to join Sally for a run, insisting that he needs to go to work.

    A text appearing on his phone confirms a medical appointment that afternoon at 3pm, which he nervously attends.

    As it turns out, Tim has booked an appointment with a cardiology consultant and soon finds out he will need a massive operation to avoid death.

    Despite the worrying diagnosis, Tim still refuses to tell Sally anything, which only prompts her to think the worst.

  • EastEnders spoiler: Rocky grows closer to Kathy

    It’s going to be a shocking watch tonight as EastEnders’ Rocky continues to grow closer to love interest Kathy Beale but as Sandy threatens to expose his lies

    The businessman – who is played by actor Brian Conley in the BBC soap – is pretending to be Sonia Fowler’s dad Terry Cant – but is actually Tom Cotton.

    On Thursday’s episode, Rocky is stuck between a rock and a hard place as both Sonia and Kathy assume he’s spending Christmas with them so he hatches a plan.

    Meanwhile, Dotty is feeling despondent but Rocky snaps at her with some offensive words about her mum.

    Later in the week, Sonia has a last minute Christmas disaster – her oven is broken.

    Rocky proposes going to Kathy’s but Dotty is determined to ruin Rocky’s
    plan and suggests they call Stuart around to fix it.

  • Richard Hawley appeared in one of the most renowned Christmas movies

    Corrie legend Richard Hawley appeared in one of the most renowned Christmas movies of all time.

    The actor, who first hit the cobbles back in 2015, landed a part in the romcom film Love Actually.

    Richard starred alongside Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy, Martine McCutcheon and Keira Knightley in n the iconic Richard Curtis film.

    He played deputy prime minister Alex in the 2003 hit film, and appeared in numerous scenes alongside Hugh who portrayed the Prime Minister.

    The actor, who has also had roles in police drama series Prime Suspect, was killed off in a tragic storyline in October.

    Sylver and Mercedes (David Tag and Jennifer Metcalfe) – returning

    Slyver departed Hollyoaks earlier this year alongside Mercedes and their son Bobby.

    The trio left for Alicante after discovering that Bobby was posing as Cher’s mysterious friend Jade. 

    However, Channel 4 were quick to confirm that this was not the last viewers would see of the trio, revealing in a tweet in September: “Mercedes, Sylver and Bobby may have gone to Alicante, but they’ll be back soon! Are you glad that they were all able to put the past behind them?”

    Sylver revealed more about his return this month (October 2021) when he posted a snap of himself in a car with Jakob Chialton, who plays Bobby, looking over his shoulder.

    “In case anyone is wondering. Sylver is still on his jolly’s with this lad! We’ll be back real soon,” he wrote.

    EMMERDALE serial killer Meena Jutla will take her sister Manpreet Sharma captive in horrifying scenes this Christmas.

    The nurse – who is played by actress Paige Sandhu in the ITV soap – will have her killings discovered by her sister Manpreet and take action to stop her exposing them.

    New spoiler pictures show Manpreet shackled to a bed as Meena controls her.

    Actress Rebecca Sarker – who plays Manpreet – explained, “Meena is capable of anything – I get asked, ‘Is she capable of killing her sister?’ 

    “They do love each other, so Meena is capable of anything, let’s be clear, and I can exclusively reveal that Manpreet is definitely in danger because she just gets too close to the truth.”

  • Strictly fans say same thing about Rose & Giovanni’s connection

    STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Rose and Giovanni danced their way to the top last night, winning the Glitterball trophy.

    Fans have all said the same thing, as pro dancer Giovanni Pernice gushed over his celeb partner, Rose Ayling-Ellis.

    He spoke about how it had “been a dream” to dance with her.

    The intimate chat between the pair made fans emotional and they couldn’t help notice how close the pair had become.

    “I’ve said this before but the way Giovanni looks at Rose is love. Pure and simple,” one moved fan wrote on Twitter.

    Another added: “When Gio looks at Rose so adoringly.”

    And a third commented: “This is what awe and pride looks like – Giovanni in Rose. I have never cried at #strictly but this was a first – really beautiful. You go for it girl.”

    Fans were gobsmacked as Dawn Taylor made a huge blunder as son Lucas was kidnapped in nightmarish scenes.

    The recovering drug addict – who is played by actress Olivia Bromley in the ITV soap – is targeted by Meena Jutla to try and stop her from reuniting with ex Billy Fletcher.

    The evil nurse stirred the pot about Dawn and Alex was soon left terrified for Lucas’ welfare. 

    However, on Tuesday’s instalment Meena accused Dawn of neglecting Lucas and urged Alex to take him away.

    While the mother and son were enjoying a day at the park, Alex kidnapped the youngster while Dawn’s back was turned as she talked to Billy Fletcher.

    Dawn’s left terrified when she realised they’ve disappeared and Billy vowed to help Dawn find him. 

    However, viewers blasted the single mum for not looking after Lucas properly.

    One wrote: “Of course Dawn would happen to sit with her back to Lucas in the bandstand!!”

    VIEWERS watching the new BBC thriller The Girl Before got very excited when they spotted some familiar faces.

    The four-part psychological thriller series tells the story of Jane, who gets the chance to move into a beautiful house designed by an enigmatic architect. 

    But there’s a catch – the occupants must abide by his odd list of rules.

    The plot revolves around Jane, who starts to feel the house changing her in unexpected ways.

    However, when she makes the shocking discovery about her predecessor Emma, she’s forced to confront unnerving similarities.

    As the two women’s timelines interweave, Jane begins to question if her fate will be the same as the girl before.

    The adaptation of JP Delaney’s bestselling novel boasts a star-studded cast, including Loki star Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Selma’s David Oyelowo and former EastEnders actors Jessica Plummer and Ben Hardy.

    The EastEnders stars play a couple in the series, with Ben portraying Emma’s boyfriend Simon.
